# AppEnhancer 24.4: Web scanning hangs after approximately four pages
## Symptoms When you scan documents through AppEnhancer WebAccess, scanning hangs after approximately four pages. The reported issue affected multiple users, initially occurred intermittently in Chrome, and later occurred consistently across all browsers tested.
Troubleshooting recommended in the case
1. Obtain the updated PixTools package for AppEnhancer 24.4 and its release notes from your support representative.
2. Uninstall the older PixTools components as directed by support and the package documentation.
3. Install the replacement package following its release notes. In the case correspondence, support confirmed installing patch 1 before patch 2; verify the exact package and prerequisites before applying that sequence to your environment.
4. Retest scanning to determine whether the same hang occurs.
