In AppEnhancer, Render Server fails to process file with the following format (TIFF, JPG, PDF).

Cause

AppEnhancer Render Server does not support the processing of malformed or corrupted files.  The file must be valid and conform to its file type standard to be rendered successfully.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, determine how the file was originally created (e.g. from scanning or other digitizing utility) and verify the output has the expected specification for the file type. Corrupted or malformed files must be corrected by the original source application or by a third-party process before they are introduced to AppEnhancer. The Render Server will not repair or process these files.

For example, a corrupted PDF can often be repaired by opening it in an application like Adobe Acrobat and then re-saving the file. This action can correct the file's structure. Similarly, malformed image files may need to be opened and re-saved using a dedicated image editor to correct any corruption.

If you have many files that exhibit the same problem and they cannot be corrected by the source application, consider using a pre-processing tool such as OpenText Output Transformation Server (OTS) or similar, to correct them before they are added to AppEnhancer.
