Error 1722 : There is a problem with this windows installer package

Issue:
Unable to uninstall AX on client workstation.

Error Message: 
Error 1722 : There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personal or package vendor. Action WMI unregister, location c:/program file/xtendersolutions/content mangement \delwmi class.exe, command: AXindex server.
 
Solution:
 
1.  Uninstall AX with the Windows cleanup utility. Install the following Microsoft application.   Launch  "Windows Install Clean Up" from the start menu and remove any references to ApplicationXtender.   
 
 
2.  Manually delete the XtenderSolutions folders in the program files and common files directories:
  • C:\Program Files\XtenderSolutions
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\XtenderSolutions
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\XtenderSolutions
  • C:\Program Files\Common Files\XtenderSolutions
 
3.  Delete the following XtenderSolutions registry keys:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/xtendersolutions
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/xtendersolutions
 
4.  AX should install successfully.  If the client still receives errors after doing the steps above, go back to regedit.  Right-click on the following registry keys and do a search for "Xtender": 
 
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
 
5.  Delete any key associated with AX then attempt the install again.
