OTS 25.4 Patch 2 install fails unless P1 is installed first
If OTS 25.4 Patch 2 fails during installation, the issue may occur because Patch P1 must be installed before applying later patches.
The failure happens because the required prerequisite patch, P1, was not installed first. The supporting OpenText guidance also indicates that P1 needs to be run twice.
Resolution
- Install OTS 25.4 Patch P1 first.
- Run P1 a second time as required.
- After P1 has been successfully applied twice, install OTS 25.4 Patch 2.
- Confirm the install completes without errors.
